Reflecting on a past we left physically, yet which continues to inhabit memory, this project translates the instinct for survival through the frantic movement of a mouse. Here, fleeing is
not an act of forgetting, but a circular motion in which memory imposes itself upon the present.
Through rapid charcoal lines, repetition is portrayed as an act of ongoing survival within an endless loop, leading us to discover that ultimately, we flee in order to endure, and endure in
order to master the art of escape
