Salah Hreeb
Born in 1985, Salah Hreeb is a contemporary Syrian artist whose passion for visual art has shaped a distinctive creative journey. From an early age, he immersed himself in drawing, studying diverse artistic techniques and continuously refining his skills through both academic and hands-on experience.
Salah has actively engaged in the art scene by training with local artists, participating in numerous workshops, and showcasing his work in both collective and solo exhibitions. Driven by the belief that a perfect piece of art requires a fusion of techniques, he constantly explores diverse styles and evolves his creative approach. In 2009, he held his milestone first solo exhibition at the Arab Culture Center in Damascus, marking the beginning of an extensive artistic journey. Since then, he has expanded his reach, displaying his pieces in premier galleries across Syria, Lebanon, Dubai, Egypt, and beyond.
Hreeb’s work reflects a duality; each canvas becomes a dialogue between form and feeling, where architectural precision meets expressive abstraction.
Hreeb’s paintings are more than compositions. They are architectural meditations rendered with expressive force. Each piece reflects a duality: the precision of built form and the fluidity of human experience. His work invites viewers into spaces where geometry meets gesture, and where abstraction is grounded in the logic of place. Whether capturing human situation scenes or intimate moments of stillness, Hreeb’s art resonates with clarity, depth, and a quiet intensity.
