Ghassan Nana

Born in Homs, Syria in 1953, studied in the institute of Fine Arts in Homs 1971, and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Damascus University in 1978. He builds his paintings through dabs and short brushwork, sometimes adding touches of colors in an impressionist, almost abstract manner. The misty and peaceful scenes are a revival of his past and a contemplation of everyday worries.
