Pedro Naddaf
Pedro Naddaf (b. 2007) is a Syrian artist whose practice explores the transformation of conflict remnants into spaces of reflection and contemplation. Working with materials marked by violence, including fragments from explosive barrels and mortar shells, Naddaf recontextualises objects of destruction into sculptural forms that invite dialogue with memory, resilience, and human experience.
His work does not seek to reproduce the trauma of conflict, but rather to create a space where its traces can be acknowledged and understood. Through the process of reshaping these remnants, Naddaf examines the relationship between material, history, and collective memory, allowing damaged objects to become vessels for recognition and introspection.
