From the heart of Damascus, Art Week Syria emerges as a major comprehensive cultural platform aiming to contribute to the revival of Syria’s artistic and cultural scene. As the first event of its kind in Damascus, it marks a historic moment in the country’s cultural renaissance, bringing the Syrian art scene together like never before.
Bringing together a curated selection of the country’s leading artists, collectors, creatives, cultural institutions, and emerging talent, the week will feature art exhibitions, film screenings, musical performances, and talks under one umbrella.
Designed as both a cultural destination and a platform for exchange, Art Week Syria extends beyond exhibitions into a city-wide experience through artistic site visits, curated cultural tours, and international participation across Damascus. The event also welcomes collectors, gallerists, curators, museum professionals, patrons, critics, and influential voices from the international art world, creating new opportunities for dialogue, collaboration, and lasting cultural exchange between Syria and the global arts community.
Art Week Syria aspires to become an annual platform for artistic documentation, cultural exchange, and international dialogue—reconnecting Syrian creativity with regional and global cultural ecosystems.
